Perth Update

Hi there everyone
Well our car safely arrived in Perth and we have had a Happy Christmas with the Todd family.

We have caught up with my Mum and with some other very dear family friends
Some of which I had not seen since we were kids which was very special .

We have been for a ride in a 1939 Austin 8 and we have been bogged whilst parking at Westfield shopping centre whilst redeeming Christmas Present Vouchers

Cameron has had a day on the road working with his uncle drilling holes in $47K cars installing reversing cameras and Daniel and Jordy are also enjoying being reunited with their cousins.

The weather has been 40 degrees for the last few days and now declared as a heat wave!

Tomorrow we leave for Rottnest Island for two days.

We hope all our friends and family are also enjoying the holiday season.

Indian Pacific

The most high risk part of the holiday event was always going to be getting the Car across to Perth.
Today we packed the car and delivered it to the Check in point in Sydney and they did not have us on the list which was a bit scary.
All sorted out and she is in the way.
We are all looking forward to flying out on Friday Morning

We're going on a Trip...to Perth and back!

Graham and Kate
Graham grew up in Perth, Western Australia. His Mother, brother and sister, and their families still live there. He also had the privilege of having two special Foster Mums, who have been a fabulous support. We have wanted to visit them all especially during the Christmas holidays.

We live in Sydney, New South Wales. The distance between these two cities is about 4000 kilometres. Needless to say, the distance is a little overwhelming especially when it is time for family get togethers.

Our boys!
For some years we have been discussing, contemplating and considering driving to Perth and back to visit Grae's family. After a very serious family conference and the consideration of the boys mental health, in close proximity for that length of time. It was decided that we would fly over and drive back.

This will be our journey, our trip of a lifetime!
