Rottnest Island and Perth Departure

Hi Everyone

(1) We have spent two days camping at Rottnest Island and visiting the Historical Guns and Tunnels. Rottnest is 12 kms off the West Australian coast which has a lot of Historical significance as it was modified to defend Fremantle during the 2nd World War but never needed.

(2) We ended our trip in Perth with a visit to the old Fremantle Gaol where my Dad used to work. 5 prison officers were taken hostage during the 1982 Riot of which my Dad was one of them. We learnt a little more about what happened which was important to us.

(3) Cameron spent another day working with his Uncle on A Winnebago and installing spotlights etc on vehicles and even installed a power point in the back of our car.

(4) Just before leaving Perth the car developed a oil leak which was fixed on the morning of departure thanks to my brothers contacts.
We departed Perth with the car packed very heavy - much more than planned
On the way to Busselton we stopped and bought a trailer which was not planned but important for our safety.
